FRACAD Quickstart · 7 to 28 November 2026

You don't need more grant links. You need to know how funders decide.

Every week someone sends you another "grant opportunity" on WhatsApp. You open it, you read it, you close it. Or you apply, wait three months, and hear nothing.

FRACAD Quickstart is my full fundraising system, recorded, structured and yours for a whole year. Eleven modules. Real templates. A tracker that tells you what to do next. Learn on your phone, at your pace, from anywhere.

Let me be honest with you about what I see.

Good founders, serious people doing real work in health, education, agriculture, fashion and tech, keep losing money they could have won. Not because their idea is bad. Because:

  • They write the proposal about themselves, not about what the funder is trying to achieve.
  • They don't know there is a scoring sheet, and that reviewers mark every section against it.
  • Their budget doesn't match their story, and the reviewer notices in two minutes.
  • They chase every call instead of the five that actually fit them.
  • They start from a blank page every single time.
  • Somewhere in their head is the voice that says, "Grants are for big organisations, not people like me."

If you've felt any of that, you're not lazy and you're not unlucky. You just haven't been shown how the other side of the table works. That part can be learned.

Blessing Mene teaching

I've won international awards and grants for my own organisations, in Nigeria, the US and Europe. I've also sat on the funder side of the table, reading applications and scoring them.

What I learned from that side changed everything. Most applications don't fail because the work isn't good. They fail because the founder never answered the question the funder was actually asking.

For years I explained this one founder at a time, over calls, over coffee, over late-night WhatsApp voice notes. Eventually I said, let me put the whole method in one place, step by step, without hiding anything. That is FRACAD.

Quickstart is the self-paced version. It's the same thinking I use with my coaching clients, packaged so you can work through it on your own time and come back to it whenever a new call opens.

Here's everything you get inside FRACAD Quickstart

01

The full 11-module FRACAD curriculum

Grants, proposals, pitching and, most importantly, how funders decide. We go from "what is fundable?" to a submission you can stand behind.

02

Proposal, budget and pitch deck templates, with worked examples

Not empty templates. You see a filled-in version so you know what "good" actually looks like before you write your own.

03

The FRACAD participant tracker

Your working tool for the whole year:

  • a due diligence checklist, so you know what documents and records a funder will ask for before they ask
  • a funder scoring sheet, so you stop applying to everything and focus on the calls that fit
  • a 30-day action plan, so you finish the course with a plan, not just notes
04

The grant opportunity vault

A curated list of opportunities, so you spend your time preparing, not searching.

05

One live group Q&A with me

Bring your questions. We'll work through them together.

06

A certificate of completion

07

One full year of access

Watch on your phone or laptop, as many times as you need.

Curriculum

Eleven modules. Real work in each.

M01

Fundability Foundations

How funders think, and why most applications fail before page two. Grants are contracts, not gifts.

M02

Capital Strategy and Funding Fit

Grants, equity, debt or blended: choose the capital that fits your stage.

M03

Projectization and Funder Fit

Turn your work into fundable projects with clear outcomes, owners and budgets.

M04

Grant Discovery and Qualification

Find the right funders and walk away from the wrong ones fast.

M05

Funder Psychology and Decision Dynamics

Comparative scoring, reviewer fatigue and how decisions get made in the closed room.

M06

Evidence and Impact Design

Build the proof, data and theory of change that reviewers look for.

M07

Proposal Architecture and Writing

A repeatable structure for proposals that are easy to say yes to.

M08

Budgeting, Financial Logic and Accountability

Budgets that tell the same story as your narrative.

M09

Execution Readiness and Delivery Design

Show funders you can absorb capital and deliver results.

M10

Pitch Decks and Funder Communication

Decks, emails and calls that earn a second meeting.

M11

Rejection Analysis, Iteration and Relationships

Turn every no into data and every funder into a long-term partner.

See the full curriculum

By the time you've done the work, you should have:

  • A clear picture of how a funder reads and scores your application
  • A proposal draft built on a proven structure
  • A budget that tells the same story as your proposal
  • A pitch deck outline you can adapt for grants, competitions and investors
  • A due diligence checklist you've started working through
  • A shortlist of funders scored for fit
  • A 30-day action plan with real dates on it

Who Quickstart is for

  • If you run an SME and you've been told "grants are not for businesses", Quickstart will show you otherwise.
  • If you lead a nonprofit or social enterprise and you keep applying without results, Quickstart will show you where the points are being lost.
  • If you're just starting and don't know where to begin, Quickstart gives you the order of steps.
  • If you're a founder in the diaspora or elsewhere in Africa, it's online and self-paced, so join from wherever you are.

Who it's not for

If you want someone to write your proposal for you, or you want a promise of money by next month, this is not for you. Quickstart works when you do the work.

After the academy I took everything that I learned and used it to refine my proposal, and it led me to successfully secure a grant, which boosted my organisation's credibility and our impact.

I didn't even know there were formulas that the judges use to evaluate grant applications. Fundraising Academy gave me that insight and helped me realise: this is how I need to prepare, this is what I need to put in place, this is how to structure my business to attract funding.

I always felt these grants were out of reach. Sometimes the information is just there, you see it and you're confused. The Fundraising Academy showed me what to look out for and how to go about it.

It was an eye opener on how to tell our stories well. The small ideas that we have, we can structure them, package them very well and tell our stories for people to see. I learned that even my laboratory can go for funding.

Aside from the theoretical aspect, it gave us hands-on experience and knowledge to practically apply what we learned to apply for grants.

How long do I have access?

How much time do I need?

It's self-paced. A focused hour a few times a week is enough to move through the modules and do the exercises. The work you do on your own proposal is where the real value is.

Can I watch on my phone?

Yes. Everything plays securely on fracad.com, on phone or desktop.

I run a business, not an NGO. Is this for me?

Yes. Grants, competitions and many funding programmes are open to SMEs. The course shows you how to package a business for funders.

I'm outside Nigeria. Can I join?

Yes. It's fully online, and you can pay in dollars.

Will you write my proposal for me?

No. I'll show you how, give you templates and worked examples, and answer your questions in the live Q&A. If you want closer guidance and feedback, look at the Intensive.

Will I get a grant?

I can't promise that, and nobody honest can. Please read the note below.

What if I want more support later?

You can move up to the Intensive, which includes everything in Quickstart plus live coaching.

I want to be straight with you. FRACAD does not guarantee funding. Funders make the final decision on every grant, and many good applications still don't win, sometimes for reasons that have nothing to do with you.

What I can promise is this: you'll understand how funders think, you'll stop starting from a blank page, and every application you send will be stronger than the one before. The founders whose stories you read above did the work. That part is on you, and I'll show you how.

Blessing Mene, Founder

You can keep collecting grant links. Or you can learn how to win them.
